This scene represents a moment on the return from an assent to Medicine Bow Peak. When my kids were little, they were crying how much further? Mom and I would patiently wait while they took numerous rest stops along the way to the top. Now that Mom and I are older they patiently wait while we cry inside thinking how much further (ha ha). Yeah it can be challenging physically to climb it, but most able-bodied people can do it with a little patience and determination. The hike is 100% worth it because along the way you get views like this. ♫ Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds thy hands have made ♫
I would like to think you will enjoy that hot cup of coffee or tea in my happy moment cup and take a deep breath before you rush into your day. Little moments of reflection before you face troublesome indecision about your day are critical. Here ask God for inspiration, an intuitive thought or for clarity about your decision, because the Lord your God is the good shepherd. He will lead you beside still waters if you trust Him. Relax and take it easy even if it is for only the duration of your "cup of inspiration" in the morning. Seek Him and know we are often surprised how the right answers come after we have tried this for a while. The good news is this cup is dishwasher safe. Be sure to put it in the dishwasher when your done so your spouse will feel inspired too.
