Sahuaro Ranch was founded in 1885. Preserving one of the Valley’s oldest and most magnificent ranches, the 17-acre Historic Sahuaro Ranch features historic buildings, a rose garden, barnyard and orchards. The Sahuaro Ranch Park encompasses another 80 acres that were part of the original 640-acre farm and ranch land which was still operating into the 1970s. This little scene is looking West toward the more recently constructed ramadas and bar-b-que pits for family gatherings, parties, weddings and all kinds of fun. You can enjoy your tea or coffee while contemplating the cool shade from the heat of the saguaro desert. I am grateful for that group of people who must have found "the courage to change the things [they] can" and made sure the Ranch was preserved for history. All that is to be contemplated in this fun mug that is dishwasher safe!
